How to get there
Embedded in a beautiful landscape, blessed with the most beautiful stretch of sand, while easy to reach from international locations – that’s Sitges. Find out how to get there.
By train or bus from Barcelona
The most convenient way to reach Sitges from Barcelona is by train. The regional train will take you from the central Barcelona-Sants station directly to Sitges in only 35 minutes. In Sitges it will only take you a short walk through the charming town center to get to the vacation apartment next to the beach promenade.
Alternatively, the bus will get you from Barcelona to Sitges in around 1 hour. On work days, the bus runs once or twice per hour (link to timetable), on weekends and public holidays every other hour (link to timetable).
By car from Barcelona
By car you’ll get from Barcelona to Sitges in around 40 minutes. The quickest way is via the toll highway C-32. If you have a bit of extra time and would like to get a first impression of the Costa Garraf, we’d rather suggest to take the coastal road C-31, which will take you on a picturesque road along the sea to Sitges. The coastal road will take around 20 minutes longer.
For a longer stay in Sitges, it may be reasonable to leave your car in a car park (for example the Continental Parking at Plaça Espanya, that’s just a few steps to Viu Sitges).
From Barcelona airport
Barcelona airport (Josep Tarradellas Barcelona International Airport, El Prat BCN) is located half way between Barcelona and Sitges. With a rental car you either drive the toll highway C-32 to Sitges or take the beautiful coastal road C-31 (see above), which takes around 20 minutes longer. From the airport, a taxi to Sitges will cost around 65€.
Taking the bus is cheaper: The bus runs twice an hour directly from the airport to Sitges (see timetable, from El Prat de Llobregat Terminal to Sitges Can Robert) and costs €8 (pay in cash on the bus). The bus will be stopping at Interurbanos stop 7 (follow the Interurbanos signs upon arrival).
